Just returned from another great stay at the Turihan. A great little Hotel right on the beach. Not a luxury hotel by any means, but good size rooms, clean beds and towels supplied. Turkish breakfast is ample although they have had English style bacon, sausage and an omelette guy in the past this was not missed this year.
Mehmet and the bar/beach guys really helpful.
Pool area always quiet with enough us beds for those who need them.
Short walk to bar street, shops and loads of fab restaurants, Divers, Shanghai, Annaliviers and Sur Mare to name a few
Will be back (again) 2016

The most disgusting horrible Hamam I have ever been in ? I was promised luxury and bla bla....a very scary dark and dirty place. The Hamamguy stood in front of me when I changed into bikini...he suggested also I could be naked ?
He took me into the sauna that was small, dirty and smelled awful and there were two used towels in a corner. It was a green wet mouldy swamplike rug on the floor in the sauna. The Hamamguy put his hand ON ? the stones and grinned - "hot very hot hehe" he said and went out.
It was not hot just felt like a disgusting, smelly, scary little wardrobe ...
After 3 min when I sat there and felt so disgusted he came back in again - dressed in jeans and T-shirt and sat down tight beside me. He touched my leg and started talking and smiling weird - I felt I was in the wrong place if you understand me "Sweden hehe - aahhh how old are you, very nice very hot here ...aaahhh Sweeeden ...blabla. He then started stroking my hair ?? What ?? As I was completely alone in this place under ground with him It felt not good at all....He then went out again. I just ran out of there and took my clothes and ran up the stairs into the restaurant - ! Never ever go there ! This experience destroyed that whole day. Have you ever seen the films The wrong turn or The hills have eyes. Well then you can imagine. The Bar and restaurant does not have special food (ate lunch there the day before when I booked Hamam with the "boss" who went around in the restaurant and talked to guests. (Not the restaturant man - he was ok) . Its really tacky everything there. Horrible place ! I cant understand how anyone can stay at this hotel. It was nothing I even could laugh at - I was so disgusted. DONT EVER GO HERE !!!

Great hotel for the price, my partner and I booked last minute and it fulfilled every requiremeny. Make sure you travel into town to different restaurants and it is slightly more expensive on the sea front. Clean hotel and quiet also. Always space by the pool.

Fourth time in Gumbet and was ready to try another hotel. Was not good decision! I didn't like this hotel unfortunately. My room was clean and the staff is nice but thats the only positive. The power in my room was gone for 10-30 minutes at least once an hour. The aircon was leaking water. The cleaning staff turned off the aircondition so it was so hot in my room. Its noise from next door hotel. The hamam and massage section burned down! The beach is very cramped. Roomview was to a parking place.
