This place was spot on for our family. The location was at the entrance of the town and walking distance to the beach. Because it was Easter, the beach was crazy and I was very glad we did not stay there. We enjoyed hanging out in the covered patio on the hammocks and the community area was inviting and gave us the chance to mix with the other guests. Because of the location, it was quiet and private as well. My children enjoyed the pool when we needed a break from the Beach. If you are looking for a quiet beach, make sure you check out Carillo down the road, it was a lovely beach with no services or hotels on it.

Unfortunately the owners were not there because they were having a baby but Christopher our host offered a myriad of information and enjoyable conversation. We loved their dogs Suki and Bella and CC the cat. If you do not like dogs you may reconsider staying here because Bella especially likes to hang out with the folks but not in an annoying manner. If we come back to Costa Rica, we will definitely stay here again and for an extended stay!

Three of us were booked to stay for 2 nights in March. When we checked in we were told that they could only take us the first night despite havig a reservation. The lady (not sure if she was the owner) did't even try to find us other accommodation, we had to go and look ourselves. The area around the pool was littered with dog excrement. Room was clean but that was the only positive thing we could say.

By far the best place we stayed in costa Rica. Great, clean, ample accommodation, perfect pool and space to relax in hammocks in the shade. It's a short a walk to the beach in the heat, but more than worth it to have such a quiet relaxing place to come back to. With only 7 rooms and ample communal space it really feels like you're own place - all helped by lilah and brandon's inobtrusive hospitality. Stay completed by monkey watching us eat breakfast.

all in, amazing value for such a great quality place.

Stayed at Entre dos Aguas in February 2012 for two weeks while attending Intercultura Spanish school. Rooms are very nice and extremely clean. Pool is very nice. The property is beautiful and very quiet. Great common area for relaxing. It was great to meet and talk with other guests; met some really great people. The monkey visits were also really cool.

The only thing I found a bit difficult was the lack of a/c - it is really hot in Samara - but I knew about that before I got there :)

All in all a great place!

My wife and I stayed here in February, 2012, and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The rooms were nice and talk about clean, housekeeping cleaned the rooms daily, changed the sheets every 3 days and found myriads of ways to fold the towels in creative characters. Lila and Brandon we nice hosts and always helpful. There was a variety of breakfast choices and an outdoor kitchenette and refrigerator if you decide to cook on your own. We both loved the pool, very inviting and clean and I think we swam in it every day. The grounds are very lovely and garden-like and considering how close you are to town and the beach, amazingly quiet. Our biggest pleasure though was getting to know our fellow guests. Many stay long term like we did and many come back here year after year, which should tell you all you need to know about the quality of the place compared to many others in town. We met and made friends with many interesting people and now have more people to visit on our travels. Would we choose this place again if returning to Samara? Darn right we would.

Room tip: First floor rooms are cooler, second floor rooms do occasionally get noises of chairs scraping across the floors on the third floor, and the third floor suite is best for families.
