We showed up with three 20 year old girls, and met Ryan and within minutes had a place to stay with air conditioning, wi-fi, and breakfast in the morning. All in the most accessible location, and all for 15$ a night. We made lots of friends and felt completely comfortable and 100% safe. I accidentally left my phone on the bed when we left the city, and when we came back, they had it waiting for me. We left a couple nights to go check out other parts of Costa Rica, and we missed it so much we came into Tamarindo and stayed at Bahia Paraiso another two nights before we left back to the states. Ryan is a really relaxed guy who runs a traveller-friendly, fun and beautiful hostel. I'd reccomend it to anybody. Pura Vida!
