We spent a couple of nights here recently, and it proved to be a good choice. Sighisoara is a place everyone who visits Transylvania should see but it's not massive by any means and the likelihood is that most guests will only be here for a few nights before moving on.
The hostel is very easy to reach from the train station. Just turn cross the road, turn right and keep walking a for few minutes. Perfect if you have heavy bags! It is also a relatively short walk away from the medieval section of the town, with the clock tower, churches and museums, which let's be honest is the only part most tourists will be interested in.
The hostel is not huge but our room was pretty spacious with bunk beds. There was enough floor space for our bags, though I didn't find any lockers. There are two immaculate bathrooms containing showers, both worthy of a decent hotel on the ground floor. After an epic day trip that started in Sibiu and took in Hunedoara (don't get any ideas!) I was glad to get a couple of nights of good rest here.
There is a decent kitchen with a fridge, cooker (one of our roommates found the latter really useful!) and bread for making toast every morning. Best of all, the basement has been converted into a games room so guests have the opportunity to play snooker, or use the computer to surf the internet (alternatively there is free WiFi for those of us with appropriate devices). The guest book is pretty funny- going by past entries some really wacky people have set foot in this hostel, but that's no bad reflection on the place of course and we didn't encounter any crazy people during our stay.
All in all Nathans Villa is recommended to Sighisoara tourists on a tight budget. It's a nice hostel.
