I stayed here twice in 3 weeks. First for business then came back 4 days later to stay with my wife. I liked that it was off the beaten path but had friendly staff that was amazingly helpful.
They offered to make me reservations daily which I only had to take once.
They did a load of laundry for only $10 including folding.
The rooms were amazingly clean.
Even the guy at night spoke some English. The day crew spoke great English.
It was by a school and I loved to hear the bells ring.
It was 3.5 blocks from the subway which takes you right to the Pink house, congreso, and all the downtown sites.
It was cheaper than other places.
I didn't like that the shower didn't have a door, but I always had an extra towel to throw on the floor so it wasn't a big deal.
It's not a 5 star hotel but it does deserve the Excellent rating here on TripAdvisor for what it is: a good, clean, friendly, well-priced hotel.
