This inn sits in a residential neighborhood which does not at all negatively impact on its ability to charm its visitor with incredible, panoramic views of the red rock country of Sedona. We had the Coconino room which affords more privacy because its location on the inn's side facing huge rock formations. Even from the bathroom there's a nice view! The breakfast, which is included in the rate, was extremely creative and different from the usual breakfast fare and was oftentimes accompanied by an explanation from the chef. Although very good, we would also have liked to have a bit more of a choice and a few more options. Our room had many windows to enable us to take in the views at all different times of the day. Our private varanda provided a private, outdoor space in which to view the spectacular nighttime sky. Our bed was a queen and the mattress was o.k. We did overhear guests in the adjoining room which was somewhat annoying at times. If you get quiet neighbors, there should be no problem. Our hosts, Christie and Whitney, were quite helpful , yet did not overly interfere with our stay in anyway and did not meddle with our enjoyment. I think their philosophy was that the beauty of the scenery would negate the necessity of their having to over-explain anything. They were very responsive to our needs. One day we had purchased some delicious chocolate cake during the day at a restaurant noted for this and we saved it for the evening. Our hosts readily provided any utensils required and there are always refreshments available day or night in a fridge on the main level. Although it was somewhat chilly during our stay, the outside patio on the main level seems like a very comfortable place to have breakfast or just enjoy the lounge chairs and great views. Its location in the Oak Creek section of Sedona is just off of SR 17 and before the hectic pace of the central area of town. Its location is excellent as a staring point to do day trips in any direction. I found the price to be reasonable and appropriately priced. A nice extra is that our host takes pictures and e-mailed them to us after our departure. Overall, it was a very enjoyable, relaxing stay.
