Brand new construction, maybe 5 years old. And very nice.

I have stayed here several times.

Just be warned Heber Springs is in a dry county, which is just so weird. Especially since tourism is a big business in Heber.

The hotel staff are nice and helpful. But remember to leave a tip for the house keepers they work so hard for so little pay.

So glad they opened this property in Heber Springs - a nice place like this was needed. We were surprised at the size of the room - lots of space to spread out in. Everything was in excellent condition and very clean. Service was top notch and friendly. When we said we wanted a quiet room they suggested the end of the hotel away from the animal shelter across the highway because sometimes you can hear the dogs barking. Our room turned out to be very quiet. Breakfast was pretty standard fare but the warm cinnamon rolls were outstanding. The location is very pretty and there are several restaurants within a few minutes drive. The only negative thing was the music that seemed to be blasting from the outside speaker over the entrance - not conducive to the peaceful setting. Would stay here again when in the area.

We rented a suite for two days as we had my 89 year old father-n-law with us and needed an inside separate area for him. The suite was wonderful. There were two rooms, both with bed, dresser and tv. The clean bathroom and closet were in the outer portion of the suite. The beds were very comfortable. The AC worked perfectly. The free breakfast in the mornings was very good. They had cheese omelets, turkey sausage, biscuits and gravy, link sausage as well as "to die for" hot cinnamon buns as well as the normal continental offers. The whole place was clean and well kept. Unlike other free breakfast places, this one was big enough to accomodate all of the people who wanted to eat. I've been to some hotels that I just didn't get to eat breakfast because there was no room.

Room tip: We were on the third floor and it was perfectly quite.

This hotel is not just nice but it is a great value (About $90). It is located near Sugarloaf Mountain on the outskirts of Heber Springs. There is a Barbecue restaurant next door that was really good and a steak house just around the corner (that we didn't try).

As for the hotel, it is newly built. The rooms are massive, well decorated, and the bed was like sleeping on a cloud.

This is the only review I think I have ever written that I couldn't find a negative thing to say. The town of Heber Springs was nice, the people there were friendly, and this hotel was awesome. If you are within driving distance and would like a nice romantic place to stay, then check out the Holiday Inn Express in Heber Springs.

Nice hotel and friendly staff. We were on the first floor and it was very quiet (which for any hotel is a surprise). Large room and great amenities. Wish the t.v. was in the area with the couch instead of the bed area. But, actually we were not in the room long enough to watch t.v. anyway. The breakfast was typical but the cinnamon buns were excellent. I would definitely recommend them.
