Have stayed here a number of times over the past 10 years. Everything is beautiful and serene without being overdone -- grounds, public areas, rooms. Great owner and staff, good wine at wine hour, wonderful breakfast. A great place to relax, read, unwind.

My boyfriend and I stayed at this adorable inn this past weekend. From the first moment we walked, we felt welcomed by the friendly staff. We were shown to our beautiful suite where we were able to enjoy the quiet environment with the beautiful view from our balcony...ultimate relaxation. Being from the Silicon Valley, that is very hard to come by.
I would most definitely return to the Seal Cove Inn in the future!

Seal Cove Inn at Moss Beach is a wonderful 10 room bed and breakfast that is more like a hotel then a house. The staff are delightful and accommodating, and they offer breakfast with your stay. They also offer wine and appetizers in the late afternoons. The grounds and gardens are well tended to and it's clean. The front desk will assist you with online airline check in if needed. The bed was very comfortable! If you use the fireplace in the room (traditional 3 hour firelog), then you must stay in the room until its done (you can't leave it unattended). Breakfast was a three course gourmet meal, which is chosen for you (no a-la-cart options)
SFO is only a 20-25 minute drive away so Seal Cove Inn is a great place to stay if you have to make an early flight the next day.
There are lots of areas to explore, many restaurants to dine at, and some really lovely neighborhoods to drive through. I would definitely stay here again, although it is a bit pricey to stay any length of time. You won't be disappointed with your stay.

Room tip: Upstairs is a nice option because you have a balcony and you look down on the gardens.

Thank you so much for the kind review. We want to provide our travelers a relaxing stop in their journey. We are happy to hear that you found the property close enough to SFO and that we could help you with your check-in. The next time you visit you'll be able to enjoy our new gas fireplaces which are easy to start and eco-friendly--so you can enjoy a warm fire anytime! We look forward to welcoming you again soon.
