This Embassy suites is everything you would want from a hotel. It's clean, the suites are large, with separate bedroom and tv room. The huge couch pulls out into a bed, which isn't comfortable, but my 10 year old son didn't care. The regular beds were comfortable. The bathroom was well equipped and big and clean. The staff was perfectly friendly. The hotel is gorgeous. When we stayed in January the atrium was being remodeled, but the hotel is so huge, we barely noticed. Breakfast, minus the omelets, and happy hour were still offered. This hotel's happy hour is one of the best because cheeses are offered, along with popcorn and chips and the other typical snacks you'll find at Embassy Suites. The price was lowered because of this remodel, I'm assuming, and we took advantage and we were very happy.

Room tip: This hotel is about 1/2 hour from the typical wine tasting wineries, so I recommend doing all the wine tasting in time to get back to the hotel for happy hour, then going to dinner near the hotel.

The hotel had a very nice lobby and courtyard. The staff was helpful but always busy. They got us a cab the first night but waited an hour for one the second night and it never came. The location is awesome. The A/C didn't work though. The rooms were big and had plenty of storage.

We couldn't afford to stay over night in Yountville, but Napa is just a few miles away. This Embassy in located near enough to the freeway to be convenient, but far enough away so that it's very quiet. Can't beat the room size, comfort and amenities. Love the breakfast, even though we slept too late to enjoy it on this occasion. We will return.

Room tip: I really don't think there's a bad room. Ours faced the side street off of California Blvd.

Did an impromptu one night trip to Napa (2 adults and a 3 year old) from San Francisco. Found a good deal on a suite at Embassy. We had never stayed at an Embassy Suites before so were a little wary but were blown away by this property. Modern, elegant common areas and suites. Beautiful grounds, pools, swans, fountains, etc. Didn't even notice the construction which was tucked off in the breakfast area. Awesome to have a separate living area with a pullout sofa for our three-year-old. Definitely will stay here again.
