We stayed at the Inn for the first time on June 28th, Saturday. We were in room 17. It was directly off the parking lot and around the corner from the office/check in. The room was lovely, 2 nice poster type queen beds, and they were quite comfy. It had a fireplace but was not used, we were treated to 70+ degrees on our trip. There is an area with a small fridge, microwave, and coffee pot. A safe was in the room and drawers for clothing, plus a large walk in closet, however, no hangers or place to hang items was found. Bathroom was adequate with updated ADA type facilities. That was my first concern. The shower does not have any lip on the floor at all around it, and the shower curtain hangs from a pole on the ceiling, therefore water went everywhere while taking a shower. It is fine for wheel chair people but kinda of slippery for someone ambulatory and we made quite a mess and used up 3 towels to wipe up water all over the entire bathroom. I don't know the ADA laws so maybe this had to be but next time, I will not take a room with that type of bath. We had beautiful big windows to see the pier and the beach, only thing better would of been to have screens on the windows so we could have fresh air and listen to the waves at night. We truly did enjoy the room, the staff were quite nice and I would return again. I liked the floor we were on, but next time I would like to try to get a room a little farther from the noise of people checking in and out all day and evening. All in all this is a very nice inn and we will return again!
