OVerall: the breakfast was nice- I ate biscuits and gravy every morning and the kids enjoyed eggs with their doughnuts and fruit. The dining area was very cramped, but that makes for a friendlier, family type atmosphere for the most part, The terry robes were a nice touch in each room. "fun" "cabiny" decor. room fridge and micro very convenient. big tvs.

The Bad & ugly:We got shoved under the stairs in a very unpleasant room. There was a huge gap under the door so that cold air constantly seeped in and we could hear word for word the conversations of other guests as they went up the stairs or hung out in front of our door at the bottom of the stairs. The carpet in our room was filthy! Normally that might not be a huge deal for me, but my small chilidren mainly play on the floor. I would help them get dressed and they would play for 15 minutes and have stains on their knees. The room was surprisingly small. And there was very little closet space. One staff member was incredibly rude. The internet was barely functioning. There was a mouse in the parking lot and the parking was super- cramped.

The good:Eventually we asked for another room and the rest of the staff was very helpful with a simple room switch. The upstairs room overlooking the college housing could have been in an entirely different motel! Large! pretty darn clean! A generously-sized bathroom and places to store our things. The pool was smallish and maybe a bit dingy, but warm and hottub/sauna area was downright cozy. The mattresses felt much better in the upstairs room too.

We are planning on coming back, but will be very specific about the kind of room we want.

I decided to stay at this hotel after reading other positive reviews. The hotel is in an older building but it has been remolded and kept up extremely well. Everything was very clean and the bed was comfy. The rooms are a little on the small size, but functional. We had a flat screen TV, wireless internet, and the room even had a skylight over the bed with a remote blind. You can walk to Pearl Street, but it is a little hike (10 min walk).

My husband and I stayed at The Quality Inn and Suites Boulder Creek while visiting our son at CU. We brought along our dogs so our son could spend some time with them. The Boulder Creek is a very clean, updated older hotel with great friendly staff and very good service. They are pet friendly; even giving a welcome gift to your pet; dogie pick up bags, treats and a bandana.They do charge for pets, but the small price is well worth it. They have specific rooms for dogs and their owners, so I suspect the other rooms are a bit nicer.
The beds were very comfortable, they provided robes and very nice amenities.
The hotel is a short walk to CU, which is very convenient when you are trying to see your children and meet for dinner.
The breakfast was good and it was a nice touch to have cookies and coffee in the lobby. The hotel also provides free bikes to check out. The bike path is right next to the hotel and runs for miles.
I highly recommend this hotel, especially for pet owners!

One of the nicest motels we stayed at on our two week trip to Colorado. Large, nicely decorated room (Western style). The whole motel was clean & nice. The motel is only two stories so there was no elevator to mess with and you can park in front of your room. About a 10 minute walk from the Pearl Street Mall & we felt safe walking. There was a nice indoor pool & hot tub. Decent "motel" breakfast. The front desk clerk was very nice too.
