My Wife and I have eaten at "The Veg" four times a week for the past two months. Why? Because in all of Sarasota, no other restaurant serves such fantastic food without all the salt, the fat and the cholest. The Scallops nobody in this town has the quality or the size.The Smoked Amberjack, again nobody in this town even serves it.
The Veg Burger, you tell me where else such an outstanding tasting, great presenation burger of this kind exists?
We order glasses of Wine, unless they over fill the glass, you can 't pour anymore wine in it. I have noticed though, that nobody walks through those doors without being greeted, regardless of how packed they are. We eat both lunch and dinner and never ever have we had a single comment or complaint. I do not want the place to be bigger and lose it's incredible tasting, personal touch dishes. It reminds me of a great Eatery in Tribecca, or SOHO, the prices are excellent, and you feel like your among friends, not strangers. The water tastes unusual because they use different natural flavors every day I asked. I tell everyone about this place because there is no Vegan/Seafood restaurant like it anywhere within 50 miles. The Chef comes out of the kitchen to make sure your dish is exactly what you wanted. What other restaurant does that.
I don't work there, I don't own it, I don't am not part of the place, but having lived in Sarasota for 40 years and eaten at dozens if not a hundred different restaurants, nothing compares to this place. NOTHING
