Dear LogCabinGuy,
Thank you for taking the time to review the Grand Harbor Inn again on your second visit. We appreciate your positive comments on the staff interactions, as we greatly value our guests feeling comfortable and at home during their stay. We feel our rates are appropriate for the quality of our rooms and certainly of our premiere location and understand that there are lower and higher priced options in Camden along with lower rate categories to chose from within our Inn as well. Our premier waterfront location also offers many advantages and amenities including the town of Camden being only steps from our doors; offering shops, galleries, eateries, historical walks and awe inspiring hikes and views.
I’m apologize that you feel our rooms are small as they range from 350 to 500 square feet, most of which are 450-475 square feet. We feel we have ample parking onsite for our 11 room property, as parking in Camden is always at a premium and offer this free of charge to our guests. We are sad to hear that the awnings from the restaurant below interfered with the enjoyment of your stay but please understand that this is not a new addition to the building as the outside dining existed prior to Grand Harbor Inn being built. With many cancellation policies having 14 day cancellation windows as well requiring the room to be re-booked prior to refunds, we feel our cancellation policy is the most flexible to travelers. You may also amend your reservation (lengthen or shorten) up to 4 days prior your arrival with no fee.
LogCabinGuy, we are greatly sorry to hear that you felt your stay was not of the same value as last year and sad to see such a low rating when you have mentioned so many highlights. As always, we look forward to welcoming you back with warm smiles and hospitality and wish you a very Happy Holiday Season!
Sincerely,
Erick Anderson
General Manager
