Beloin's Seashore Cottages have the best unobscured views of Penobscot Bay. We stayed in cabin 27 which has a 6ft. picture window giving views up and down the coast. We watched the lobster fisherman retrieving traps directly in front of the cottage and a seal visited throughout the day along with several loons and other waterfowl. The windjammer excursions, sailboats and ships provided interesting watching. We woke daily to watch the sunrise over the islands. The cottages are close enough to Camden to walk into town. We decided to do the walking trip, about 2 miles, to avoid the traffic crush and parking difficulties. Our cottage had two full-size beds which made it rather cramped with just enough room for two chairs in front of the window. Kitchen and bathroom were small but adequate. The cottage is showing some wear and tear but was clean.More
