My husband and I just stayed at the Captain's House for 3 nights about a week ago and loved it. The view of the ocean from our room 4 was beautiful, as was our room. Tim and Gretchen have a wonderful B&B, and it was just an all-around nice stay. Some people don't care for a Bed & Breakfast, but the atmosphere there is very relaxed. It was much cleaner and quieter than staying in a hotel. The breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of choices each morning. They have a mini fridge, microwave, hot water for tea, popcorn, along with other nice things to make your stay comfortable. They are more than willing to give you any information you need to make your trip enjoyable. It's a convenient location if you're staying anywhere near Cape Ann or Boston. No doubt I'd definitely stay there again.
