I love to eat meat and if you are like me this is the place for you. It's like an all you can eat buffet but the food is cooked fresh and carved right at your table. You start w a huge salad buffet that has everything ever put on a salad from veggies to smoked salmon. Once you are done with your delicious self created salad that's when the fun begins. A group of meat carvers comes around with various cuts of meat and carves off a piece or two right at your table. My favorites include the Brazilian sausage and the filet mignon but there are many more meats that were brought out including beef ribs, lamb, chicken, ribeye, top sirloin, garlic steak, and others I can't remember. Bottom line is the food was great and the way the Brazilians serve up the meat is great. Our bill for two including tip was just over $100 but well worth the money.

My wife and I went out for her birthday with our 1 year old daughter. The staff was amazing; very courteous, friendly and warm to the sight of a toddler. This could have easily been a disaster but it was one of the best places we have eaten at in Detroit. Would highly recommend it to anyone.

Absolutely loved it!! We ate here before my Yankees whipped the Tigers so between that and an awesome meal it was a great day. We also went again before our football team played for the state championship. We had only been to Rioz in myrtle beach (which we love) and it certainly compares and is better in some areas. This place in less then a half mile from Comerica Park/Ford Field so it makes for a great per or post game meal and helps in avoiding traffic. Dinner is pricey but lunch is very reasonable. Enjoy!!

Having spent many years in Brazil and and cooking alot of Rice and beans, my review may be harsher that some, with that disclosure on to the discussion. Opun arriving and circling the block a couple of times it became apparent there was no valet, so found a self park a block away for around $10.. Upon entering greeted the concierge in portuguese and got a blank look in return. As it turns out only 1 Brazilian on staff and one other Portuguese gentleman which has nothing in common with Brazilian food.. That isnt a good sign, because one thing that sets Brazilian food apart is subtle techniques in cooking, which as of yet I havent found a none Brazilian to perfect these.. After being seated it seemed we were seated somewhere above the ozone layer as the servers seemed oblivious to our presence.. But after 20 minutes they noticed us and we proceeded to the amply stocked salad bar. Quite nice actually, fresh mozz and many tasty dishes. However the plains of Brazil arent famous for salads, no sir.. Its about the beef.. The hot bar had the staples Rice and beans, however, sadly bland. I enquired about some Brazilian hot peppers and was directed to some fresh Jalepenos, not even close! The meat grade was very high, superbly tender. A perfect 9 really.. Just needed a bit more spices. When the value here is compared to Minas emporium in Atlanta ($12.00 per person for the same feast, but seasoned correctly) These guys at $50 a person lose bad, but if you're in Detroit, the logistics may justify.

Very wonderful restaurant. A buffet that you don't have to leave your table. The meats are fabulous and just keep coming. If you like one particular one just tell one of the servers and they will make sure to have that server come back by. The salad bar is a little different but you can find something out of it if you are creative. Bonus is there is sushi!!!. Great restaurant, better to make reservations, cost per person is fairly high but the quality of food is met with the price. A few dollars cheaper if you go during the week.
