Lodge Apartment #201. Walked in and door frame was falling off. No light bulb in one bedroom lamp. Bed was made with one flat sheet and a light flannel blanket. By third night bed was made with two sheets. Bed was not even smoothed out. Wastebaskets were not emptied during my three day stay. No spare toilet paper in bathroom. 5:00 PM check in time stretched until 7:43 PM.

Hello James,

Thank you very much for the review. I am so very sorry we made these mistakes during your stay. We experienced staff shortage during the month of September but fortunately we have been able to recruit a new great team. Again, I do apologize for this situation and thank you for sharing your concerns.

We arrived after 4 hours of driving. We had a 2 week reservation. The receptionist were not so understanding of the RCI system. The had room only for 10 days. I requested to speak with someone that could help. That someone was busy on a wine tasting. They wanted me to wait until next day to correct the problem. Under a lot of pressure finally thy fixed the problem and after an hour or so we got to our cabin. Beautiful view. and kind of new cabin. The rest of Brezy Point is old and does not look nice. With much surprise with had many problems inside the cabin. Doors that did not close, closet doors falling down, water toilet tanks leaking, and many other issues. The most disgusting was the pots and pans, there were teflon falling apart and rusty. Very toxic. The floors are not clean and it looks like that there is no vacuumed floors or washed floors in bathrooms and kitchen. I don't want to go on, the list is too long. Nobody seems to want to take care and be professionals. Very noisy, there are not enforced rules for noise prevention.

Room tip: Get the 800's cabins

We came as part of a conference. They have an antiquated reservation system and took weeks to confirm our reservation. Our check in went fine, but multiple friends waited until 9-10pm before their room was ready. The free wifi was so slow it was unusable 95% of the time. The food was ok, not bad, but not good. The room was nice, but housekeeping didn't clean, only straightened things up. Given the price ($200 per night inclusive of meals for one of us who was attending the conference, but not the other) Breezy Point Resort was a disappointment.

I was recently at a conference at Breezy for 3 nights, and my first impression of the Lodge Apartments is that my room was on the 2nd floor and there was no elevator. Actually no problem for me, but wasn't asked if I would be able to walk up the stairs let alone drag up my suitcase. Walked into the room and was hit by the fabulous full room view of the lake, well what I could actually see through the sliding glass doors that were horribly dirty. So I opened the doors to the great breeze and the sound of the water while I unpacked, but tried not to see the water bottle under the bed, or the tissue on the floor behind the nightstand, or whatever that was in the corner in the bathroom. Couldn't open the frig all the way as it hit the wall and kept telling myself "it is Rustic" as I enjoyed the view, the breeze and the sound of the water. Besides, I was only going to be in my room in the morning to get ready and at night to read and sleep with the sound of waves. I like a good nights sleep and coffee in the morning and got that. I thought the food at the Marina was good, as I did not have to cook it and could always find something I liked at the buffet. Conference rooms were comfortable and close by, and talked to others who were at the Inn and Suites and they said it was very nice, but I would not have traded the lake right there.

Everything was organized nicely, free wifi and staff were very pleasant. I would love to stay there again and have time to golf but not sure I would for the price. Room just needs a good scrubbing!

Room tip: You have to walk up to the 2nd floor at the lodge apartments, but then feel safe to have the doors open with the screens.

Overall it was a great value. We stayed for three nights and did 108 holes of golf . The room was neat and clean but a little dated. We had a lakeview in the same complex as our meals . The food was great if you follow your servers advise, They know what was and was not good. The golf was fun and well managed, we had free drinks on the course. Bring Tip Money. Their is a 15% service fee that no one seems to know where it goes. We asked all if they got any of that and it was not much. On the other hand most all deserved tips. We were well taken care of and not once did I feel like I was overlooked because we were on a all inclusive. If you are not a drinker it may not be worth it but we seemed to come out ahead. Will do again.
