I had an offer for 2 free nights here so we decided to give it a try before moving on the Venetian for the rest of our vacation. I was hoping to buy an upgrade to a suite but nothing was available so we were stuck in a standard room.

The room was small but relatively clean and comfortable. The bathroom was downright tiny. I think the shower at our Venetian room was bigger than the entire bathroom here.
But this isn't a 5 star hotel so all things considered it was fine.

The main reason to stay here is to be close to the action on the street and that we were. We were there on a Friday and Saturday night and had a great time out on the street listening to some live rock and roll hair metal style.

Another benefit of staying here is the closeness of the other casinos. You can get in and out of half a dozen casinos in the time it takes you to even find the gaming area at one of the strip resorts. Fremont street reminds me of Reno back when Reno was lively. It's a good time. I wouldn't want to spend my whole trip here but a night or two is fun.

I have to mention the Paradise buffet and cafe located in the back of the Fremont. We skipped the buffet and ordered our breakfast off the menu on both mornings. The service was fantastic and the pancakes, scrambled eggs and bacon were all very good.

The location can't be beat. If you like exploring Old Las Vegas, it's a great starting point and in the middle of everything. Front desk staff was cheerful and friendly and told us not to hesitate to ask if there was anything they could do for us. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again!

This location is central to the Freemont Experience. I requested a room away from the music of Freemont Street and received one that met my expectations. It was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The maid service was efficient and good. The casino staff were friendly and prompt with drinks. The buffet is probably the best in the downtown area. Everyone was very pleasant and the comps (I had been to Tunica, Mississippi on prior occaslions and qualified for some basic comps)were very good. The Rewards staff were very helpful in explaining all options . I had a wonderful stay and will return, hopefully for New Years Eve.

This is a nice hotel in the middle of Fremont Street. It has a great buffet and the rooms are a little dated, but definitely clean. The bathrooms are the area that is dated, but I never fail to stay here for the deals, and the service. One of the better hotels n Downtown Vegas.

Stayed 26/30 May. Hotel is compact by Vegas standards thus it is a short walk from your room to the Casino floor or right outside on Fremont Street.

Very warm during our stay and found having the Fremont canopy in place an unexpected but welcome source of shade. It almost felt like there was "misting" by the Golden Nugget but not able to confirm that.

Excellent service by staff. Arrived at 1100 but were immediately checked into our room. It was quite compact but provided very restful sleep. Mattress was amongst the best I have found in a hotel. Housekeeping staff were very prompt and room made up most days by 10:00 AM.

Ate at Tony Roma's which was just average and also at Paradise Buffet which was very good. They have carving stations at the lunch buffet so we found that became our main meal of the day.

Terrific cocktail service to the slot machines. Casino advertises $3.00 Blackjack and Craps and found that to be readily available throughout our stay.

Ventured to the strip only one day because of the heat. Nice to see the "card clickers" who used to promote brothels are no longer evident.

The Fremont street experienced has evolved a bit and parents should be advised this is no place for children during the evening hours. Numerous celebrity impersonators in various stages of undress. If you go with a very open mind then the overall effect is entertaining.

All in all hotel was great and vacation was okay.
