The facility is still very old, as stated by others. The rooms have a musty odor, the bathrooms are dirty and our non-smoking room designation seemed dubious.
I would rather sleep in my car than stay in this hotel again.

When I called to reserve the room, I did so for 2 nights, but our plans changed and I decided to stay for just one night, I was charged $20 for canceling the second night. We were given a handicap room, I am not handicaped, I figured that they were crowded and it was all they had so we just stayed in it. The room is a awful green color and the room stinks. The shower head was very low, I am 6'1" I didn't fit in the shower too well. The bed was hard and lumpy. I was very displeased, I am not onr to ever complain about things, but for $100 a night, I would expect nice accomidations

Okay folks here is the deal.

First the positives - The staff was friendly and helpful. Convenient Access to the Mall and Restaurants.

Negatives - This hotel is very, very old. The Lobby looks great, but once you get off the elevators it looks worn down. Our room was very smelly when we turned the air conditioner on. The bathroom was fairly dirty. There were scrapes of dirt on the floor of the shower. We needed extra towels and washcloths and it took 5 hours for us to get them. We were late to an event we were attending waiting on these things. The parking lot was always full. We had to park in another parking lot every night. Some evenings it was fairly loud. The only reason I stayed was because we got a rate of $35.99 a night and all of the other hotels were sold out or had outrageous rates. I don't know if I would recommend this hotel. I just know that I won't stay there again.

when i arrived to the hotel after a long night working then traveling from new york without any sleep, i was excited by the friendly early checkin. the hotel was next door to the mall with a variety of eating options to fill my empty belly. the room was a large but the bed uncomfortable. the bathroom needed some work. in fact, the lights were missing their covers. that night, i got reintroduced to a "navy" shower as the water was luke warm at best. when i checked out 2 days later, i was outraged that even though i booked an internet rate 39/night, i was being charged 43/night. the desk staff said they had increased their rates. after a much heated debate, they refunded the difference even though the manager did not approve this complete refund over the phone. i would not stay at this days inn again. as my travels continued, the red roof honored all their internet rates.
