We stayed at the Clee House for our second time over the August Bank Holiday weekend.
We had the family room which has a double, single and bunk beds. The room was generally clean and well equipped.The room was a really good size, quiet and comfortable. The only negative comment was that the carpet could do with a clean and the TV is pretty small and the freeview kept playing up.
The staff and the owner in particular are some of the most welcoming I have ever met and clearly take a great pride in the hotel.
Breakfast was included and was excellent, plenty of choice freshly prepared and good quality ingredients.
The hotel is a short walk from the town square and sea front but is on a quieter street. The centre of Cleethorpes was a bit rowdy in the evenings and seems to draw in young people from all over so we were glad to be a bit away from it.
We had lovely weather made good use of the towns facilities - some parts of Cleethorpes look very run down( towards the indoor market end) but the area from the pier to the leisure centre and gardens beyond were really nice and the beach was very clean.
We will almost certainly return and would recommend it
