Unlike some reviewers, we didn't experience outstanding service or a pleasant stay because: (1) When the toilet in our bathroom backed up at 11 p.m. and we called the desk, we were told that nobody could help but we could come to the desk, get a plunger, and fix it ourselves. (2) Upon arrival, we had to carry our luggage a long way because 13 parking spaces near our unit were taken up by a truck/trailer combination. (3) Our next-door neighbor had set up a chair and table right outside our door as a smoking lounge. (4) When we returned to our room on the second day, it had been half-cleaned: The wastebaskets were sitting in the middle of the floor awaiting plastic bags, which were spread out on the kitchen table, and no used toiletries had been replaced. (It looked as if the maid had been abducted by aliens mid-cleaning.)
The room was outdated but comfortable. There was lots of space to relax, and the TV was a new flat screen. The bed was okay, but the sheets were placed directly on the mattress (no pad), which was creepy.
The location was perfect for us--near family and the airport. There were lots of restaurants around.
Breakfast was typical of RIs and offered lots of choices. It was the best thing about this place. Otherwise, this RI was not up to Marriott's standards.
In fairness to the manager, when we complained about our parking problems and DIY plumbing experience at checkout, we received a discount on our room. In spite of that, it's not likely we'll ever return.
