This is our most frequent place to stay in Amish Country. It is a bed and breakfast without the hustle and bustle of a larger hotel. We love the large, well decorated rooms and the option to have a jacuzzi and fireplace if you choose. There is also a small kitchenette in the room with a table and chairs, which is nice when you want to indulge in the local wine and cheese in the evening. The staff is very welcoming and accommodating. The rooms are spacious, clean and well equipped. They also provide a continental breakfast. I love to come here for the solitude and to listen to the horse and buggy's while sitting out on the patio. It is a great place for your own little retreat. The only down side is you need to plan ahead because they fill up quickly!

We were able to stay here this past week, (Feb 25&26). The inn was neat and clean, comfortable and quiet. The staff was friendly. The room was spacious with a sitting room, kitchenette and large bedroom with sliding glass doors and a small patio. The view was wonderful!
We were able to get our room at a great price and that made us happy.

The kitchenette was large compared to another hotel in the area. It had a coffee pot, microwave, and refrigerator.

It is handicap accessible...all on one level.

The only downside to it was that the Wi-Fi was difficult to connect. But, we would stay there again whenever we visit the Walnut Creek area.

Room tip: There were several styles of room with different amenities....like Jacuzzis in most rooms. We chose The Shaker Room for its price and style that we liked. It offered more of what we needed for the price we could afford.

We enjoy the large Jacuzzi rooms, beautiful views from the patio or window, the quiet solitude we find at the Oak Ridge. We relax in front of the fireplace, enjoy breakfast. Owner & his staff are very nice.

Room tip: All rooms are large, but we like the size of the Jacuzzi rooms. Fireplaces are awesome too!
