What a wonderful, quiet and serene setting! A little challenge to locate! Can't believe there are no signs on the roads in! Wonderful shower, nice clean and newly renovated modern room. Don't expect the norm for a hotel however! Small flat screen tv, very small rooms, no closet or typical hotel amenities such as curtains or room darkening shades! The bathroom is very modern and clean with a great rain-like shower head! Very limited space and storage for extended stay, however, one night is very enjoyable despite the size of the accommodations. The suites are roomy, however three times the price of a single room, and a very tight spiral stairway to the bedroom(s). Don't bring large suitcases; it will be difficult to maneuver up the spiral steps to your bedroom if you are in one of the suites.
Great place to spend time outdoors on their multi-level patios with a rushing waterfall almost within touching distance.
For the obvious quality additions/renovations the owner's have put into this place, I'm surprised how they overlooked room darkening shades and some kind of sound proofing. The walls are very thin and I actually awoke during the night to "neighbors" simply talking. Watch what you say, it can be heard in surrounding rooms! Might I suggest sound machines to the owners!
In any event, very lovely, out of the way, place. Spend the extra money for the larger rooms, but don't expect a huge room when you do! The location and "back" of the hotel can't be beat for relaxation, enjoying nature, and enjoying the company of who you are with! You won't be disappointed!
The owners also have a sister property, Settler's Inn, which is a fabulous bed and breakfast with very large, lovely rooms with character and warmth!
