We stayed here for two nights while traveling through the area for work. I had researched the hotel beforehand and the pictures looked amazing. However, when we initially came down the road that leads to the hotel, we began to get a bit worried. The homes/streets around the hotel are not very nice. And from the outside (on the front) the hotel looked like it could use a bit of a power wash (dirty windows, vines, etc.). However, ,upon entering I was glad to see that it was just as nice as the pictures online looked. The guest lounge is great (particularly when I was awake with insomnia at 3am! I was able to lay on a couch there and work on my laptop as if I was in my very own home!). They have coffee and organic teas out at all times and a cabinet with drinks and snacks that you can take and pay for at reception (nice stuff, not junk food like most hotels). Each morning they put out a great selection of nice pastries and muffins for breakfast. The room is appointed very well and the interior design and decor is fantastic. Our room was somewhat small, but adequate for our needs. My favorite part was the balcony/deck out back that overlooks the waterfalls. I worked outside one day (the wifi worked out there as well) and we had drinks out there our last night. It was beautiful. The only thing that was disappointing was the amount of noise you can hear in your room. We could hear the guests walking around on the floor above us even though the ceiling of our room was probably 15 ft high. Am guessing they didn't have carpet on their floors or the floor itself was just too squeaky, but it was very loud and not great when we were trying to sleep. You can also hear when another room flushes a toilet or runs water. But apart from that, it's a lovely hotel in an area with not much else to offer in way of nice hotels.More
