We were walking for a couple of hours, and saw more than half the formal gardens but none of the wooded area or the demonstration gardens. The variety of plantings, less and more formal arrangements, winding paths, waterfalls and features, were just lovely. They had already started stringing lights in trees, so I expect the Christmas holidays will be wonderful there. We'll visit again whenever we're in this part of the country.

My husband and I have been to longwood 4-5 times and each time is a relaxing unique experience. The map is small and uncomplicated to use and is helpful to determine your must-sees. Longwood Gardens is a great place for couples and families alike. The cafe restaurant is a bit pricey but the food is excellent. On our latest trip, we used a groupon for 1/2 off admission. Great deal! We will be visiting again soon!

The best park I have seen in a long time and I visit many every year.
The verity, the amazing colors and sizes of the Elephant ears, for instance, ,were so beautiful in all their sizes, with the adjacent plants they planted with them.
The flowers beds are rich and gorgeous designed.
The fountains with the music are so enjoyable. Children LOVE the choochoo trains, and the tree houses. The conservatory is beautiful as well. .
We had an amazing day, my 3 grand children 4,2.5 and seven months with their mom and I.
Wonderful experience.

If you are at all into flowers, looking, smelling, photographing, or landscape, this is the place for you. They are constantly changing what is available, depending on the season. We spend a very pleasant whole day. Wish we lived closer, we'd get a membership. Definitely a must see.

Has to be one of the most beautiful gardens. We were there in the fall and still beautiful. The spring must be heaven! Very large grounds but good walk ways. You can go in the home at the same time. The conservatory will take your breath away. The large water fountain is something to see. Be sure to sit and watch when they put on their show. Check the times not to miss. Nice place to eat with nice veiw. Large gift shop and place to buy plants. What a great place to wonder and get lost in!
