The hotel is lovely and situated close to most attractions. We were able to walk everywhere. The staff is terrific and so helpful. I'm a very light sleeper and they recommended a room away from the street that was perfect. The complimentary breakfast was ample and offered a wide selection. The best part was dining on the terrace for breakfast, afternoon wine and cheese, and night time cookies and milk. The lobby is beautifully decorated, has classical music playing in the background, and offers coffee, tea and iced tea all day. This hotel is best suited to adults, as there are no recreational facilities, such as a pool, to occupy young children. I'd definitely recommend it to friends!

This hotel is a real gem. The people at the front desk are so warm and friendly and they really care about your trip to Charleston! It is their personal attention that puts this hotel over the top. The room was adorable with a little balcony overlooking the market. I received champagne at checkin, juice and coffee throughout the day, wine and cheese in the evening and milk and cookies at night. We even had the continental breakfast brought to our room wihich included warm french pastries, juice, coffee and hot chocolate. It you are tired of being nickeled and dimed at over priced large hotels where no one knows your name, come and try this hotel. You will be pampered and made to feel like your comfort matters. Bravo French Quarter Inn, we will be back!

My stay this past weekend at the French Quarter Inn was the best hotel experience I've had to date. The Inn is charming as well as spotless, and the staff was warm, welcoming and very helpful. After being greeted with champagne, our room was upgraded to a suite, which was lovely. We enjoyed the daily continental breakfast, wine and cheese and cookies and milk. The front desk managed to get reservations for every restaurant we picked and gave spot on directions to everywhere we wanted to go. The location is great, close to Market St., the finest restaurants and just a few blocks from the harbor. Stay here and you won't be sorry!

My wife and I stayed at the French Quarter Inn for our honeymoon. The room was amazing and the terrace was great for breakfast and relaxing in the evening. We even had massages on the terrace! The staff was very helpful in setting up tours and anything else we needed. Not the cheapest place to stay, but it is so worth it!

Room tip: Ask for a room with a large terrace and jacuzzi tub, overlooking the market if possible.

We had the most wonderful time at this Hotel. Although a little pricey, it was definitely worth the cost. From all day coffee and tea, evening cheese, crackers and wine, to even warm cookies and cold milk before bed. Not to mention the choice of pillows. Room was large and bed very comfortable. In the historic district, so we were able to walk the streets and shop, sight see and dine. I would highly recommend this Hotel. It was our first trip to Charleston, but definitely not our last. We will be going back for more pampering.
