We stayed at this hotel during our annual trek to visit family in my mom’s home town. Last year we stayed at the Hampton across the street, so we thought this place would be ok. It was better than ok. Not much they could have done better. The staff was very helpful, as we called from the road to confirm our rooms, asked to see the rooms prior to checking in, and asked for small stuff like towels, spoons and napkins. They were very glad to help. Oh and breakfast….. what I can I say? It was good for a place on the side on the highway. Hot coffee, danishs, waffles and sausage. The rooms were updated with new linens and there was free internet. There were even cookies in the lobby, yum!
