My grandfather has a time share at Schooner II, and we have been going here for 25 years. It's like a second home--the rooms are always clean, the staff is friendly and accommodating. The pool area is small but when you go to the beach who wants to spend all day at the pool?? They have lawn chairs you can use by the pool. Hot tub is by the pool. They have a workout room and raquetball court. It's an awesome location - you can walk down to Pier 14, and just past the pier is Ripley's Believe it or not museum, ice cream shops, a little arcade, a ferris wheel, and many restaurants. Lots of shopping within walking distance, too...Waves, Pacific, Eagles, and other shops. Broadway at the Beach is a short drive away...so is the Aquarium, many of the shows like Medieval Times, etc, and Tanger outlets. Miniature golf courses are within a short walk. So much to do! Starbucks is across the street and subway and other fast food places for when you don't feel like eating out. Restaurant row is s very short drive too. Perfect location, right on the beach, big, clean rooms. Not far from airport. I would definitely stay here even if we didn't have time share. It's not as new as some of the other huge hotels right down the street, but they keep it updated and it's not as expensive as those other hotels. I've never had any problem with rowdy teens or excessive noise. I definitely recommend Schooner II!

The resort is right on the ocean and close to many activities! Have stayed many times with no problems. Staff very friendly and helpful. Construction next door but was not a problem. It will impact the views from the one bedroom units.

Room tip: Select a two bedroom unit.

We decided a month ago we wanted to go to the beach so I was on a tight budget and could not afford our normal hotels. I must say, for the money this was nice. The pool area was very small and nothing to be desired. The location was great and within walking distance to so much. The staff was very friendly and honest. At checkout we left a kindle fire and was called within 15 minutes about it. It was at the first desk waiting on us.

Although the weather was terrible when I was there this hotel had a heated pool and hot tub which was fantastic. The accommodations were great. If I had to complain about anything it would be that the furnace was too far away from the main living areas. It took quite a long time to heat the place up. Beautiful views, right on the beach.

This was my first stay at this property. The first thing that I noticed, other than the construction next door was the very friendly staff. I've stayed a lot of places and they are among the friendliest and helpful that I have encountered. I checked into the hotel on the 6th floor on the south side of the tower away from the construction. The view of the ocean was very nice even though the balcony is on the side of the building. The rooms are very spacious and clean.

It can get a little noisy outside until around 1 or 2 am on Saturday, but thats to be expected near the heart of the beach. The other nights were much quieter. Even still, the hotel is sound proofed fairly well and it wasn't that big of a deal to me.

There are great restaurants nearby. I recommend you visit and enjoy!

Room tip: As for a high level on the side opposite from the construction.
