Having decided to go away for New Year choosing the Norton Manor again as the place to go was not a difficult decision. Jose the manager was as friendly and helpful as ever, answering all of my emails promptly and being very flexible to accommodate our needs, he also kept us fully informed of all that was happening at the hotel.
When booking we had asked for the same room as last time (Old Impton) and it was just as we remembered, beautifully presented, immaculately clean, very spacious and welcoming. On our arrival Jose was at reception to welcome us and without delay helped to carry our bags up and confirmed with us our dinner appointment and let us know we were free to join in with all or any of the activities the hotel had arranged for that evening.
Dinner and breakfast were very good as before with breakfast served at a leisurely and relaxing 10 am and there was no rush or pressure to have us check out. Again only a one night stay but thoroughly recommended with every member of the staff there being incredibly friendly and helpful with nothing being too much trouble. If you like a healthy start to your day then we recommend that you order the fruit platter for breakfast the night before, it looked stunning on the plate and tasted even better. I am sure it makes up for the gorgeous, creamy and calorie laden tiramisu we had the previous evening!
