My husband and I stayed here for a weekend conference. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. The room was nice and overall, we had a nice stay here. We ate elsewhere because the food at the hotel seemed pretty expensive to us. The restaurant smelled good though. The location is very nice - lots of places to walk and explore as well as several nice restaurants within walking distance of the hotel.

My daughter and I just stayed at the Omni for a quick getaway and it was a fantastic experience. Even though we live in the Dallas metroplex, being in Las Colinas near the water makes you feel like you're out of town. I purchased the spa package and it was well worth it and a really great deal with breakfast included and $40 each of spa vouchers. The room type I had selected was set for renovation so we were upgraded to a suite which was beautiful with nice furnishings and a great view. Every staff member we talked to was friendly and helpful. The bed was so comfortable, I slept like a rock. The majority of hotels I stay in have miserable water pressure in the shower, which makes it really difficult to rinse shampoo out of your hair! Not here -- we were on the 20th floor and yet the water pressure in the Speakman shower head was unbelievable. Also, great air circulation so the mirror didn't steam up. It was nice to be able to open the door to the balcony to let the fresh air in. Trevi's had a nice breakfast buffet. The Mokara spa is beautiful. My daughter had the student stress massage and then we both had the mom and me mani/pedi. Barbara and Dana are the best team and we had a great time chatting with them and left with beautiful hands and feet.

Room tip: Corner suites are fantastic.

This is a lovely hotel. You will be welcomed warmly on arrival, offered complimentary water and lemonade, and be on your way up to the room very quickly.

The service really is the standout here. The staff are exceptional and on par with the Ritz Carlton and the Four Seasons. Indeed, Omni hotels tend to have an understated excellence that sets them apart from the pack. The Omni Mandalay is no exception.

The room was up to expected standards and I had a view of the lake at Las Colinas which stretched to the iconic Dallas downtown skyline. Maid service prompt and flawless.

If there is one criticism of this hotel, it's somewhat of a Dowager Countess and will be in need of a facelift in the near term. You could almost imagine JR and Sue Ellen walking in, all dressed up with shoulder pads and big hair from the 1980's. Don't get me wrong, there is a faded glamor to the place, but it's fast getting long in the tooth.

Had a great customer experience at the Hotel, every member of the staff goes above and beyond to make sure they deliver great service! Also the location is perfect, just a few miles away from both DFW airport as well as downtown Dallas.
