This hotel was recommended to us by someone who stayed & enjoyed the history behind it. We stayed 2 nights & enjoyed the experience. The rooms are named after the various "ladies of the night" and we stayed in #11 - Miss Kitty's room. It is on the 3rd floor - a corner room with views of the downtown & the harbor. The hotel does not have an elevator, so we climbed 62 stairs to get to our room (that was interesting with bags & all!!). Room was clean. Not many plug-ins (none in the bathroom), but that was not an issue. The shower did not spray properly, so it was a bit of a challenge to get the soap off, but we managed. Each room that was not occupied had the door open, so we took a look about & they were all very quaint & interesting with the décor of the period. Our room was pretty noisy with the morning deliveries & garbage collection. The wind howled at night, but none of the windows rattled, that was a good thing. We did enjoy our stay & would book here again if we ever got back to Port Townsend. Lots to see in this little town.More
