We don't know how we find these dumps, but this is another one to avoid. It's website is excellent and inviting - gee, another reason to not believe everything you see or read online. It's hard to describe the room, other than it was L shaped with bathtub in the short side of the L, across from an impossible to open sliding door to a tiny balcony with the water about 20 away. The door actually could be opened with great force and the screen was easy to open since it fell off when touched - just fell off ... was sorta funny at that point.
If anyone has ever been in motel, circa 1950's, you have a good idea of the room. It did have cable TV - and offered a very basic cold breakfast. Room was not cleaned or if it was, the cleaning person just waved the dustrag\floor vacuum at the it .... coffee mugs were left dirty each day and fresh towels were provided. I finally had enough and called the front desk. The guy there brought two clean mugs and told us to take them with us when we left. We didn't as no reminder of this place is necessary.
There's several other newer spots in Port Townsend and I'd highly recommend you check them out before plopping down here. Three nights was $375 and worth about half that ... or less.

Room tip: Get to Port Townsend during the day and drive main street to find a spot ... cannot see any reason there wouldn't be vacancies 24\7. I'd even suggest the downtown hotel (only one in town). It was a former cathouse and the rooms all are named after hookers. it would have been hoot to stay there. it's very nice .. clean ... and I'd even say "quaint" .....

My friend and I happened upon this little gem when we were in port Townsend, and we were so glad we did! This inn is right on Port Townsend Bay, and the very kind manager gave us a corner room with a private balcony that extended to both sides of the room, with a view across the bay. The room was huge, clean, with free wifi, a nice sized tv, two comfy queen beds, a kitchenette and a dining area. It also included a continental breakfast, and the rate was so low we could scarcely believe it. We wish we could have stayed longer; we certainly will the next time!

This hotel was disgusting! Unlocking the door, the first experience is the smell of an old musty room. All of the rooms in the old building are old and run down. They have never been updated! Check in staff was reasonable as was the continental breakfast. Please make sure you reserve the newer part of this hotel ..

My mother and I stayed here in Port Townsed late October 2014. Our room was outdated but very clean and comfortable. We had a decent sized deck that overlooked the water with a jetted tub. A jetted tub on the deck seemed odd to me at the time but I loved it. Soaking in the jets watching the fishing boats heading back into harbor with the sun setting in the background. Gorgeous! The wifi in our room was a little hit and miss so I wondered down to the lobby so I could check email and such. The staff were very friendly and professional, offering info on the area and a must see list. I would definitely stay here again. The price is a little high for the off season but well in comparison with the area in which lodging cost aee slightly above average. We had a great stay

We had the last room available and it was very nice. What impressed us the most was the guy at the reception. He was very professional and very pleasant. He did anything to help us but what impressed us the most was that after some of the hotel guest had spilled glass on the parking lot. he asked somebody to clean it up and went also himself there to help.
The hotel was nice and very clean a nice variation in the breakfast.

Room tip: The back of the Hotel is on the water but the front is on a busy road
