We spent two very nice evenings at the America Club Hotel. Our room was beautiful and of course the bath tub and shower were fantastic. The Kohler fixtures were very nice. The hotel was the residence for the workers at Kohler when Mr. Kohler first started Kohler. It is a fasinating story and remains to this day.
The rooms are luxurious and lovely. I have one complaint. The pillows were terrible. I cannot believe for over $650 per night I would have to complain about the pillows. I called asking for down pillows and they brought me more pillows that were hard and definitely not down. I think we ended up with 8 pillows on the bed; all terrible.
The restaurants in the hotel were very nice. We ate at the bar and it was fun and lively and the service was excellent. We ate breakfast in the Green House (?) and the service was fantastic and the bagel, smoothie, etc was just right.
We shopped in the little shop. They have very nice golf sweaters for men which we did buy. Not much for the women which was sad. The girl was not at all pleasant who served us.
The service at the front desk was prompt but not overly friendly. I can live with that. Internet in the room was complimentary (big plus for me).
Over all, we would come back. The golf is exceptional.More
