We booked here on vacation to the mountains and because they have a hot-tub. When we got to the hot-tub it was full of teenagers under 18 even though the facility sign indicated ADULTS ONLY in the hot-tub. When we entered the tub the water was cold. The teenagers told us that management turned off the heat because they (the teenagers) were in the hot-tub, (obviously management does not know how to control teenagers). We asked the desk person (we never saw a manager present in the two days we were there) to turn the heat on in the hot-tub. She bold-face lied and told us the heat was on. I asked her if the heat was turned off because it was full of teenagers, (two of whom were necking). The look she gave me was enough to know that she was going to do nothing. I emailed Ramada and related this to them. Obviously the teeangers here are paying for the rooms and service and us ADULTS are just along for the ride.
That's it for me, so long Ramada!

Because we are going to spend our days in the mountains, we verified that the hotel had a working hottub when making our reservations. When we arrived, it was working, but on the cool side. On our third day, the hot tub broke. When we asked the front desk about the hottub, she said they had called, but it would not be repaired that evening. As the hottub was very important to our stay, we then asked if we could check out so we could go to another hotel with a working hot tub, and were told no. I then asked to speak to a manager, and I was told no, they were not allowed to call the manager if the manager was not on duty. I asked who I could speak to, and was told there was not one but her, and she did not have authority to allow us to checkout. I asked if they had an 800# I could call, and she gave me one. I then went to our room and called the 800#. After explaning what had happened, they called the hotel, who called the manager. The manager finally agree to let us go. During this call, I was told that the hotel would call me back within 5-7 business days. They hotel did not call me back until 2 weeks later when I called and requested to speak to the manager. The manager tells me that the hotel is not allowed to call her when she is not there, and any problems could only be taken care of when she is there.
We had an interior room, which did not have a microwave or refrigerator. The room is a bit outdated, but on the larger side of hotel rooms. Because this was an interior room that faced the atrium area, our room was loud. The hotel facilities seemed nice, and there was plenty of space for large groups to gather. The location is easy to find. The maintance persons also seemed very friendly and helpful.

We booked this hotel via Best Western website about 6 months before our stay. We found out when we arrived that it was no longer a Best Western but privately owned and there were stickers covering every Best Western logo.

The room was dirty and there were yellow stains all over the mattress and blankets on the bed, and a hole where the smoke alarm had been which had been plugged with a tissue. The towels were old and yellow and the complimentary toiletries were all opened and half used (not that I use them, but it does not give a good impression!!).

Best Western apologised and told me the hotel should have informed us of the changeover, but they agreed to give me my points and gave a voucher towards my next Best Western which was good service from them.

Would not stay here again.

I'm not sure why everyone has given this hotel such a bad review. I stayed there with some friends this past weekend and had a nice stay. The rooms were nice and clean, the bathrooms were the same. The breakfast was good and plentiful, and the price was low and exactly what they had quoted. I have stayed in far worse hotels than this and I'm planning to stay here again in January!

I booked this hotel though hotwire, so I didn't know what I was getting until after I booked. We just wanted a clean, cheap, and safe place to sleep after our Biltmore tour. My only complaint is about the heat inside the main atrium, outside all of the rooms. All of the heat pulled out of the rooms via air conditioning was making the atrium very hot and humid. An uncomfortable walk from the lobby to your room.

Our room itself was clean and safe. Breakfast was adequate as well.

I wouldn't mind staying here again if I had a reason to return to Asheville.
