Just back from Staying 2 nights at the B&B. Owners are lovely and will go out of their way for you (we had a late check out as the room was not being used). There are only 4 rooms but each one is of good quality furnishings
Little Italy is a fun place to be based and the restaurants there are really good - we ate there both nights and gave the walk to Gaslamp a miss, thats how good they were! Little Italy feels more of a locals place, rather than for tourists.
Taxi to the airport is about $9
As with the other reviews, our breakfasts were very good, you would probably pay $15 in a restaurant for the quality of the food. The new chef started this week as is very good, for the afternoon (complimentary) Tea she made some cakes which were yummy!
My only negative is that its fairly close to the flight path for the airport so if your a light sleeper bring some ear plugs - I used them both nights and slept really well.
For the price, this is a great place to stay and really recommended
