This really has everything you'd want in an urban B & B. I had the "Canopy room" named after the large and comfy canopy bed; even though it faced 23rd st., noise was not a problem--thick windows I guess, and the hum of the (easily adjusted) AC, Spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated with a mixture of antiques and nice reproductions, wi-fi worked fine (although you will have to ask for the password, the info book needs updating), great bathroom and shower to wash the grime of the city off, good selection of soaps and lotions, endless hot water. Staff is helpful, continental breakfast is fine, nice dining room/library area to lounge in. The TV is a small cathode ray tube model, not conveniently located for watching in bed--I'm not a TV fan, so didn't care--but if you are, bring your laptop or i-Pad. This place is not cheap, but you get what you pay for--it helped preserve my sanity during a trying trip, so it was worth every cent.
