Spent 4 nights for a business trip in December 2014. Location is everything at this hotel. Very easy access to Penn station, and the train/metro options there. Also very close to MSG and multiple shopping choices. The hotel itself is what I have come to expect from Marriott for the most part, very well run and comfortable. The lobby/entryway was not as well kept as other hotels in this chain, which was somewhat surprising. I had to request a room on the outside of the building, as I had ZERO cell coverage on my room facing the courtyard. Even with my 5th room floor facing 33rd street, coverage was not good at all. Made it difficult to conduct business in the room.Overall, if I had an street facing room, I would be back.

Would highly recommend this hotel based on this stay- just before the holidays. It was nearby to Penn Station, subway, and all the nightlife Manhattan has to offer. It was a walk to Times Square, but that was the plan...to be far enough away for a more peaceful sleep, but close enough to everything including the subway. The included breakfast was fantastic with eggs, oatmeal, bacon, sausage, and more! Can't say enough about this as it cut down on time we had to search for a meal. Not worrying about breakfast was a huge positive and it was fresh/delicious. Hope it remains of this quality because I would certainly return.

Room tip: We were fortunate to have a city view upgrade (19th Fl) and it was really nice.

We booked this place for a night so we don't have to drive home after the show. We went to see " How the Grinch stole Christmas". This place is really clean. The room is smaller than what regular suburb hotels are but the bed is very comfy. We asked for the room away from the noise and traffic since we are light sleepers. It is near MSG theater ..and a walk to Macys..and shopping and the restaurants are just around the bend. Surprisingly, the breakfast..which is included is AWESOME. They offerd so much for different kinds of tastes and preferences if you have them...hot and cold food.. and delicious. I would go back here again ...

Room tip: ask for the rooms higher and on the back to avoid the city sounds/

Hotel location is very good. Only 10 min walk from Times Square and 5 min to Empire State Building. Penn Station, Subway and Madison Square Garden are only few minutes walk. Hotel room are small, but few days stay it is ok. Breakfest is average. In 24th floor is nice bar and view fron that is very nice to south manhattan.

Had a great stay at this hotel. Very handy for Macys, the Empire State Building and Madison Square Garden. Breakfast was included which saved us a lot of money, we just ate a large breakfast in the morning and that kept us going all day. Room was not huge but then we weren't in it very much! Bathroom however was a good size. Best of all, our room faced onto an inner courtyard and although it lacked any kind of view it was very quiet during the night, so much so that I didn't even hear a single car horn or police siren during our 4 night stay. Ideal for an insomniac like me whose previous trips to New York have been spoiled by lack of sleep due to traffic noise. Book a stay here, you will not regret it!
