This resort is very quiet and comfortable for relaxing, the scene is excellent with royal garden view direct from the restaurant. The atmosphere is suitable for relaxing with good ambient temperature.
The price is reasonable, the beverage is good, especially for the mint juice leaf.
This place is also interesting to have gathering lunch or dinner,.
Must try to spend the night in this resort which has a good service.

I don't even know what to say about this place. No words will do it the proper justice. This place is absolutely breathtaking. Simply wonderful. My wife and I were married here last month. When we decided that we wanted to get married on Bali, we looked at many venues before settling on Tirtagannga. Now, I would be lying if I didn't say that I was EXTREMELY pessimistic when beginning this process. This all changed when I started coordinating the wedding with Haryo. He was an absolute gem. He walked me through the entire process step by step. He was very quick to answer all of my questions and made me feel like I was in good hands throughout the process. I was also concerned that perhaps they wouldn't be as familiar with our customs and what they think is the perfect wedding might not be the same as what we consider the perfect wedding. Boy was I wrong.

Not only was the wedding the most beautiful event I have ever witnessed, the staff was so unbelievably kind and attentive that they made us feel like we were part of their family from start to finish. Once the wedding was finished, we had a two hour photoshoot with their wonderful photographer and videographer. Upon completion of the shoot, we proceeded to the restaurant right on site for our reception dinner. The restaurant staff, service, and food? AMAZING. Tirta Ayu does everything with careful detail and an obvious passion for making their guests feel special. Within a couple hours of my arrival, every single staff member I came into contact with recognized me and called to me by name.

After dinner, we headed to our private villa. The villa was setup specially for us with rose pedals on the bed, towels folded into swans, and many dozens of white roses set up all over the villa. Additionally, there was a seating area set up with fresh fruits, cold fresh water, and more flowers. Directly outside of the villa was a beautiful swimming pool with gorgeous water features flowing water into it. Just beyond that was the Tirta Ayu spa which had very capable technicians. Within just a few minutes of our request, Haryo arranged to have spa technicians sent to our villa prior to our wedding to help my wife with her hair, makeup, and pedicure. We had an amazing evening and slept like babies in the wonderful room.

The following morning we went back to the restaurant for breakfast (which was included in the price) and we were once again pleased with the service and the quality of the food. There is nothing better than being the only people in a lovely restaurant overlooking the water palace and enjoying a delicious breakfast to start your day.

The only regret that I have is that we only booked for one night. Had I known how beautiful this place was we would have booked for our entire 2 week trip. Two days after our wedding we received word that our fully custom edited wedding video and photo album were professionally prepared and ready for us to pick up. The quality was fantastic.

My understanding is that Tirta Ayu is under new management and ownership and I have to say that whatever they are doing is working. You will want for nothing during your stay at the Tirta Ayu. I highly recommend this venue for lodging, but also for the wonderful food and a FANTASTIC wedding venue. If you book a wedding venue anywhere else on Bali you are wasting your time and money. If you're reading this, you have already found the best destination in all of Indonesia.

Haryo: Thank you for making our big day so incredibly special. We will never forget the care and attention shown to us by you and your staff. We hope to see you again some day soon.

Room tip: Choose the "Pool Villa".

We stayed one night at this hotel, we had two rooms. The Raja room and one of the standard rooms. The Raja room was unbelievable, so comfortable and we felt like we in a fairytale. The standard room was great too. The swimming pool is not huge but it is very nice and if you want a big pool you can swim in the water palace. It is so special to be able to wander into the water palace at night or early morning before anyone else arrives. We had massages at the spa which were great and very reasonably priced. The restaurant was good and the staff went out of their way to make our experience special. Highly recommend spending a night here it will be a highlight of your trip.

Room tip: The Raja room is a bit more pricey but it is worth every penny.

We just had our surreal wedding ceremony and banquet at a private villa in Candidasa. Mr. Haryo and his team from Tirta Ayu Hotel & Restaurant provided us first class catering and wedding planning services on our big day, and has given the two of us wonderful memories with our families and friends :) My husband and I live in Hong Kong and the planning and communication was all done by emails. We only met Haryo 2 days before the wedding in person but Haryo's responsive emails and attentiveness to details gave us full confidence that the event would be in good hands. We strongly recommend Haryo to be your 1 stop wedding planner if you're considering your wedding in Bali, they can do their services at their premises or any other locations in Bali per your request. Haryo and his team is well trusted and will save you lots of hassles in planning an overseas wedding.

Other reviewers have said it all and we’ll just add our endorsement to their positive comments – this is a very special hotel in a very special place, and worth every penny. We only wish we had booked two nights here instead of just one to enjoy it more.

Our Villa (#3) near the pool was very private and comfortable – steps from the pool but not adjoining it for more privacy. Our room was entered through an unusually small ornate door, a slight inconvenience that only added to the charm. It had a gorgeous outdoor bathroom with sunken marble shower that was unlike anything we’ve experienced before. The room itself was somewhat small but very comfortable with a king size bed, dresser, two night stands, and a built-in closet. The a.c. was quiet and effective.

The open-air restaurant was a bit expensive by Indonesian standards but the food was very good and the setting was delightful, overlooking the water temple fountains and pools. The only disappointment was that the fountains were not lit at night except for one or two very close to the restaurant. The wait staff (and every one else in the hotel) was friendly, efficient, and welcoming.

We’ve stayed in other unique places before (old castles, manor houses, plantation mansions, etc.) and this rivals them in comfort, charm, and value. If you have the chance to stay here, do it!
