This Hampton Inn is as they usual are. The location is more than okay as it is crawling distance from the French Quarter. It is located in one of the oldest buildings in the district, which is also a bit its negative side. The lobby is small and in a shopping mall - good for a warm by-pass when it is cold, but not so nice. They have a large and cosy breakfast at the 4th should you want something more nice to meer people.
Rooms are sufficiently large and well maintained, thoug a bit old. Good housekeeping and other services. However, they say they are green for your towels, but every night a lot off lights are on in your room (not to mention the aircon when I arrive, freezing cold!). Complementary breakfast can be crowdy as all have to get food around relatively small island at the entrance of the breakfast room.
This is a good Hampton Inn, but that's what it is.More
