We stayed with our two small children and other family members in July 2009 and had a great stay. The condos are clean, roomy and very nice. The location on Fall River is very peaceful and the swings near the river are very relaxing. The owners are very nice and helpful. We have stayed at Aspen Winds in the past and will stay there again next time we are in Estes Park.

There are a lot of nice places to stay in Estes Park, right next to Rocky Mountain Natl. Park. But we're not sure you will find an equal to Aspen Winds. We stayed there during summer 2008, then again Feb., 2009. It's a family-run operation. Phil, Dot and family go out of their way to make sure you have a great time.

We will be visiting Estes and "Rocky" again, and it's a slam dunk where we'll be staying.

OK, some specifics....great river view; aspens you can touch from balcony; the breakfast alcove, comfy bed, good-sized kitchen; hot tub; less than 10 minutes from town and the Park. I guess this sounds sort of generic, hard to enumerate why this place is so special for us.

Phil and Dot: if you check out Trip Advisor and are reading this, my apologies for not writing a review earlier. The months have flown by and you probably figured we wouldn't write like we said we would. Hope you guys are doing well. Thanks again for making our stay so wonderful.

My husband and I have stayed at Apen Winds in the summer of 2007 and 2008. We enjoyed sitting by the river. We loved our stay, rooms were clean, loved the spa and got to see an elk up close. We plan on returning this year 2009.

My wife and I wanted to get away to the mountains but not to the ski slopes. Aspen Winds is a wonderful facility with wonderful scenery out the large windows. They rent condomimiums that all face the river, 30 feet away, and a mountain slope. The river was largely frozen over but still had rushing water breaking through, really lovely. It is a quiet time of year and the wildlife was out. Two miles from Rocky Mountain National Park is hard to beat. The unit was clean, comofortable and spacious. The owners live on site and are gracious hosts. We'll be back.
