This place was PERFECT! Although it is a little bit out of the main part of the Hunter, this place was fantastic, really felt like we were in the middle of no where and were able to unwind 100%. (allowing us to let our hair down without feeling as though we were disturbing the other people.)

As we were going away for a relaxation weekend, we went on a wine tour on the Friday and were able to spend the rest of the weekend entertaining ourselved around the property.

The provided breakfast was amazing and generous.

The owners were lovely and went above and beyond to make our stay comforable and allowed us to make the place feel like home.

Definitely would recommend for a Family, Friends or Couples weekend away!!

I love Manzanilla!! We first stayed there about 5yrs ago, just hubby & I and more recently (Nov12) stayed with another couple - it was just as perfect as our first stay! Dominic & Jane are fantastic hosts and the accommodation is tops!! Would highly recommend to friends & family :)

Stayed here for a short break, travelling with my parents. Located in Lovedale, which was a great spot for exploring some more of the boutique wineries. I have stayed in Pokolbin and Broke before, and really enjoyed the area. We self drove some of the vineyards, which worked well as three great ones that were recommended by Dominic and Jane within a 5 minute radius of the lodge. The lodge (Schull) was exceptionally clean, well equipped and spacious. Very private and enjoyed glimpses of kangaroos, and the restful location. My idea of the Hunter is to enjoy at a leisurely pace, away from large tour groups, and this was a perfect bolthole. Great on a 35c day inside, can imagine in winter would be cosy with the fire and the hot tub! Our only regret was our stay was a short one. Look forward to returning. Warm welcome and fantastic place.Thank you Dominic and Jane. Highly recommended!

Last year I stayed in one of their cottages with my 3 bridesmaids the night prior to my wedding. My husband an I then stayed in the same cottage the night of the wedding and 1 more night (without the bridesmaids). It was so lovely that we stayed in one of the cottages at for our 1st wedding anniversary. Both times were fantastic. The cottages are so nice, spacious, private, romantic and have everything you need (including a spa). The owners of the property were also fantastic, each time they went above and beyond our expectations to cater for our needs. They are very professional and friendly.
Overall both weekends were beautiful and we are so glad we chose Manzanilla ridge!

Just a great couple of days away from everything. Loved cooking breakfast together in the kitchen enjoying the sunrise and later after a day of tasting coming back for a sunset BBQ and spa. It may be a detail but having a dishwasher was appreciated :)
