I wanted to contact you to let you know how disappointed I and my family were on Sunday evening with both the level of service and the meal at the Old Bridge Hotel.
We have eaten on a few occasions now and have never had cause to complain up until now!
The wait for our meal was way above the norm! (Not even busy) On receiving our meals my smallest son was given the wrong meal, we ordered chicken nuggets, received breast! We asked for them to replace at which they did, no problem.
Unfortunately on the same meal we received pasta tubes instead of the shown spaghetti on the menu! My son looks at the food on the menu and orders accordingly, he is 5 years old!
Finally we finished our mains and ordered deserts, coffees and for the same child who chose the nuggets he chose the fruit! Unfortunately this did not arrive and we duly waited and waited!
I then asked where my son’s fruit was, the member of staff went off to find out and on return she said it would be with us shortly. The fruit then arrived to our amazement!!
We have enjoyed our visits up until Sunday; we have even popped in for coffees, something we never used to do!
I believe every business must offer value for money whilst keeping an eye on their margins, but feel let down with what was offered and served! Hope you agree?
