Location -

Club calimera is not in the main resort, despite what your online agent will tell you. the holiday was sold based on the hotel being in a quiet fishing village - not quite. It is situated on the far south side of the resort approx 7kms away. There are no amenities in that area, no shops, restuarants. You have to get a taxi to go into the main resort.

Hotel -

This is Little Germany. They do not cater for UK tourists . The welcome pack, information at desk, staff are German. The pub quiz and all entertainment is in German.

Food -

There is a plentiful supply of low quality, bland food and of course it is all helpfully labelled in GERMAN!! We ate out every night as the food was dire.

All Inclusive -

Dont pay for all inclusive here as there is a lack of facilities. There is one main dining room which serves all meals. 'Snacks' served outwith the main dining times consisted of bread rolls, meat and cheese served in the pool bar. There is a pool bar and a 'disco' - dont get excited. It is open in the evenings for childrens theme nights in GERMAN !

If u ever want to experience what it is like to be part of a minority group, this is the place.

Man made beach

This consists of small carved out rock areas, situated around the pool bar. If you walk approx 3 miles, there is a beach nearer the main resort. The coastline at the club calimera is rocky and rugged, not suitable for walking and would be dangerous to small children.

Overall, if you are from the UK - go somewhere else !!!! This holiday was a nightmare, even without the rain and the cockroaches !!!
