Just came back on Saturday, we have never visited Greece before, and so glad we did, we went at the right time, when it was not full, it was just nice, We thought it was a lovely hotel, in a fantastic position. We only sat around the pool for half a day, as we were out every day, and we did not see anyone who loved them self's there, the people we met were lovely, and certainly didnt love them self's. We also didn't pay for a lounger or parasol at the pool or at the beech. When you come out of the hotel turn right and down that road is the beach, although we were not impressed with it, only swam in it once. If you walk down the beach to the right it will take you to Laganas, we walked there a few times. If you come out out of hotel and walk straight it will take you to the strip with many restaurants and shops and supermarkerts, please visit yummy's restaurant, its all family, and they really care, and will give you lots of advice if you ask. If you walk down the strip, you will meet a round about, turn right, and there is some lovely Tavernas, beware as you get bread with olive oil, and some charge you without asking, you can not go wrong at this hotel, we would go back again, lovely family

after booking this hotel and reading reviews, we were looking forward to staying here....however we were all pleased to leave, the staff were miserable, unsociable. The aircon had the plugs cut off, there was a dead bird by the pool area for the full week we stayed, the food was vile and to top it all off, we stayed on the top floor, and would not like to think too hard what we heard running across the ceiling continuously through the night, and if that wasn't enough, the toilet wouldn't flush...on the bright side, iv probably trained myself as a plumber. You get used to the planes passing over, we loved kalamaki, and would go back, just not to this hotel..the family who own and run this hotel need to think about paying guests...we weren't squatters

Room tip: Definitely not 308 or 309. ( avoid top floor )

Back to Kalamaki in over 5 yrs.
This hotel is currently used by Jet2 holidays.
Studio had ample room for me incl a double and a single bed. Plenty of room for 2 not sure I would put 3 in there.
Very clean, enough utensils u need.
Grounds beautifully kept by one handyman.
Kept away from pool area as u always get people who love theirselves and make it known.
Spacious balcony which sadly they lack in Turkey.
Location into main strip - 8/10.
Noise volume from planes didn't bother me. Do your research before u book then u have no complaints to make when u get there.
Cost of sun bed and parasol 5 euros which I didn't think was bad.
I would certainly recommend the accommodation. Not sure I would go back to resort though, something lacking sadly.

Really nice family run hotel close to the main strip and the beach. Nice pool and poolside bar perfect for couples and families. Take a short walk (5 Mins) to the lovely kalamaki beach. Lots of wonderful restaurants again just 5 mins away. :-)
