Redeemed a gift card I received for one night in the Tower Suite.
Check-in was very basic, no extra greeting or smile. Instead the girl insisted I should unpack my bag in front of all other guests at the reception to find the gift-voucher (I did not have on the top of my bag), I asked if I could go to my room and then come back with it in a couple of minutes. Not an option. Even though she already had the Gift card number in her system, I provided Elite Hotels with it during my reservation.
I was offered a newspaper, and I asked if it was possible to have breakfast in my room, the girl provided me with a small form that I could put on my door. The cost for the room breakfast was SEK 85.00. I asked if this charge also applied to guests staying in the tower suite, and it indeed did. As you may understand, I did have breakfast in my room, and to be honest, her attitude turned me totally off so I skipped the breakfast in the breakfast room as well.
The room is indeed nice, located on the top floor, but no "goodies". Not even a fruit plate. My experience from other Elite Hotels is that they give you a small bottle of wine or such when you stay in a Junior Suite. But the Tower Suite seems to be...Redeemed a gift card I received for one night in the Tower Suite.

I did expect a small bottle of something bubbly... but no. Too much to expect I guess.
The room is equipped with a lovely terrace, although there is only one-glass windows so there is a breeze of cold air in the room during the whole night. I caught a cold. (Stayed in November).
Bathroom is nice, but there are unclean spots and the shower-head is full of dirt so it does not work correctly. There were a couple of light-bulbs that did not work, all felt very un-professional.
I was woken up by housekeeping at 8.30am. Does not hotels know that people are checking-out?
Check-Out was very basic, no question if I enjoyed my stay. Not even a "have a great day". Just very below the standard that one expect from a chain like Elite Hotels.
If I would pay SEK 12 000 / Night for this room/Suite is the answer a big NO.
They staff is in desperate need of customer care training, housekeeping should put an extra eye on spots where it gets dusty and Elite Marina Tower Hotel should consider to include Breakfast in a room charge of SEK 12 000. It is quiet basic and at least what one can ask for.
