Ocho Rios, located on the northeast coast of Jamaica, can be reached by air, although many visitors fly in to Montego Bay instead of flying straight in to Ocho Rios. This is because the only airport in Ocho Rios is Ian Fleming International Airport, aka Boscobel Aerodrome, and is used mainly for domestic flights and private aircraft. Ian Fleming International Airport doesn’t host any international air carriers.

The Montego Bay airport is Donald Sangster Airport (see  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sangster...). Donald Sangster Airport is a well-traveled, busy airport serving the Caribbean. The main airline carrier used by most people flying in to Donald Sangster Airport is Air Jamaica. Other airlines which fly in to Donald Sangster Airport include:

  • American Airlines   Air Canada
    Austrian Airlines   Avianca
    Cayman Airways   BWIA
    Continental Airlines   Condor Airlines
    JetBlue   Delta Air
    LTU International   Martinair
    Spirit   Northwest Airlines
    U.S. Airways   United Airlines
    Virgin Atlantic     WestJet
