Naples is a wonderful destination for families with children. Families who have been once to Naples go back again as every year they find new attractions and things to do with their kids, specially in the water.

So prepare yourself for some serious outdoor activities that will ensure your kids fall asleep before the night falls. Let’s take a look.

- Naples Nature Center, this nature preserve and museum enables visitors to get in touch with Florida’s wildlife. For that purpose, families can walk along manicured trails or rent a canoe or a kayak to explore the Gordon River. It is open from Monday to Saturday from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm and November through April it opens Sundays from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

- The Everglades, it is Florida’s biggest and worldly known natural reserve. You’ll find lots of way to have fun: you can ride bicycles along the roads that cross the park (don’t forget to apply sun screen to everybody), or walk (there are guided tours tailored to your needs), ride airboats to enjoy the wetlands from the air, or ride the multiple vessels across the swamps.

- If the kids like fishing, rent a charter boat and sail into the sea. Naples has lots of stores where the kids will delight choosing the fishing gear of their dreams.

For a more traditional entertainment, try Naples Botanical Gardens, Naples Zoo, King Richards Family Fun Park, mini golf or just have fun on the beach swimming and playing volleyball.
