The property is located just five minutes drive from the hilltop village of Montauroux, on a quiet hillside and set in an acre of landscaped grounds with beautiful views over the surrounding hills and nearby lake. It is 25 kms to the north-west of Cannes and 15 kms west of Grasse so all the Côte d’Azur resorts can be quickly reached.

The local area, the Pays de Fayence, offers all the main outdoor pursuits you could wish for, including golf and gliding, as well as numerous ancient villages, vineyards and cultural activities. Nearby Lake St. Cassien is a 5 minute drive and is excellent for swimming and a range of watersports.

Lovely spacious home - just arrived home from Les Chenes. We had a great time exploring the coastal area from here, Nice, Cannes, st Tropez, Monaco etc. The house itself was very well equipped for our family's needs including a Highchair, cot and I even spotted a potty (not that we are at that stage yet!). The owners have obviously put a lot of thought into providing these items. The house easily sleeps 11. There were 10 of us, including our 1 year old. Dinning areas and kitchen space were a good size for so many people. There are mosquito repellents in each room, but we did get quite a lot of mosquito bites which I guess you can expect being near the lake, a pond and a swimming pool. I can recommend the house to large parties looking for a great location for exploring the local area. more

Villa is spacious with good size bedrooms, large lounge and several areas indoors & out for eating. Gardens are well maintained with excellent covered outside kitchen / bbq area by the pool. Owners have paid good attention to detail, equipment provided is excellent, information provided before arrival & on site is 1st rate. Location is good for visiting the area. We had a most enjoyable stay, will be returning. more

The property comfortably accommodates 11 people.

On the ground floor, there is a double bedroom opening onto the lawned garden with fully tiled en-suite bathroom (with shower, washbasin and WC), two twin bedrooms (one of which opens onto the garden and pool), kitchen and fully tiled bathroom with bath/shower, washbasin and WC.

On the first floor there is a large open plan lounge/dining room opening onto the dining terrace, a brand new, very spacious and fully fitted kitchen, indoor terrace with dining area, double bedroom, twin bedroom, bathroom with shower, bath, two washbasins and a separate WC.

On the second floor there is a mezzanine bedroom with a single bed, leading to the upper terrace. The property was renovated throughout in 2010 and redecorated in 2013.

Additional Rate and Availability Information
Pricing is given in £ Sterling per week, fully inclusive of gas, electricity, linen and cleaning prior to and after your stay. All arrivals and departures are on Saturday although this may be flexible out of season. Babies under 12 months are not counted in the occupancy figures. Pricing in Euros and US Dollars can be found on our website. A 20% (non-refundable) deposit is required to book. The balance is due 12 weeks before arrival. We also require a refundable damage deposit of £500 due at least two weeks before arrival.

Lower rates for less than 4 people are also available out of the summer season.

The property is located 35 minutes from Nice airport, just over 1 hour from Hyères/Toulon airport and under 2 hours from Marseilles airport.

If you prefer train travel, there is a high speed TGV train service departing from London Waterloo to Marseilles, with one quick change in Lille. You can then carry on to Les Arcs, St. Raphael or Cannes if you wish and hire a car there.
