    How to get there
    As the property is in a rural location, a private motor vehicle is the best method of getting to and from the property and is a must if guests intend to tour the area. Local public transport services although reliable, run some distance from the property and are less frequent over the weekends and public holidays.

    The property is situated near Wells which is a short drive from major arterial routes M5, A303, A371 and A39. Drive time from London and Gatwick airport is approximately 2.5 hours and 2 hours Heathrow. Bristol Airport is a 40 minute drive. Major car hire companies are available at all of these airports.

    Luton and Stansted Airports are some 4 hours away by road.

    The nearest Train Station is Castle Cary (25 mins) with regular services from London Paddington...

We spent two weeks at Mow Barton (end July-August) with our three children (10, 9 and 7) and we had a wonderful time. The house is really comfortable, light, spacious, practical, well equipped, etc; the views are amazing and relaxing. We had a fantastic week in Mowbarton. The property is finished to an extremely high standard which made our stay that bit more special. There are fantastic views of the surrounding countryside and we enjoyed watching the sunsets every evening from the living room and terrace. The onsite facilities were also of a high standard. We stayed for a week in July and from the second we drove up to the security gate, we were so glad we chose this beautiful place.
