We spent Christmas at the cottage this year. Unfortunately the weather was extremely wet but the cottage made up for it,. It was extremely well kitted out, very cosy and the views (once the rain stopped) were breathtaking. I would definitely like to come back in the summer time! more

Management response:

Glad you enjoyed your Christmas stay (despite the weather)and that the cottage kept you cosy and relaxed. You just missed the snow! See you again soon. more

We stayed for two nights on a Friday and Saturday and were very impressed. Everything you could possibly think of is supplied from towels to tea coffee and sugar. The cottage is in a secluded location but still is only about 2 miles from Coniston village, we walked it a few times and it is about 30 minutes on foot.... more

Management response:

Many thanks! Its great to know you all had a good time and loved not just the cottage but also the location....and the walking from the door. Many people say how nice it is not the have to get in the car to start a walk! more
